What We Look For
Yatter is a space for genuine one on one conversations. For us, it is important that our members are well versed in the art of conversation, and are able to handle themselves appropriately in all manner of discussion. We do not tolerate harmful speech, nor do we tolerate people who take to heart harmful speech. We see it as a fundamental necessity to play gracefully with ideas, and live with good humour. If you are someone whom enjoys conversations for their pleasure, and holds friendships for who they are, we would like to have you.
Who Shouldn't Apply
Regardless of your position in society, if you are someone whom you struggle to handle the complexities of discussion in person, we recommend you don't apply. Moreover, if you often to seek to gain personal advantage of others, this is also not appropriate for our community as this is not the basis of genuine connection.
